Some of you may know that I’ve (yes, this is Frode writing) moved from Telemark and up to Trondheim, which is the case for Kristian as well(!), due to a new job. This means a new reality for the band and the logistics about being in a band. Especially when we plan to record an album. Unfortunately we haven’t recorded anything yet, and the writing is going slowly too. But this is what you get in this kind of situation.
The good news is that when I was visiting Telemark recently, we came up with a plan for rehearsing and getting the new songs made. So, the album shall be made, but perhaps not within the May 2010 mark. We’ll let you know about this later, especially for those of you who so kindly has pre-bought the album. You’ll get the choice to get your money back or to wait it out some more if we don’t get it made until May. Don’t worry, we haven’t touched your money! ![]()
I’ll tell you more later.
For you hardcore fans I’m uploading a couple of songs recorded from rehearsals this summer and back in ‘07. The sound quality is bad and they don’t represent Rebolt’s best quality (of course), but you’ll get an insight to life in Rebolt! You can get them by signing up as a fan at Reverbnation – so away you go!
It was time to clean up the site a little bit, so here’s the new look of Rebolt.no. What’s the important thing for a site like ours? Yes, the info. I think you’ll find it easier now. But we will work on it some more, so keep coming back!
Online streaming service Spotify has finally released our original “Made In Spite EP” from 2006 today. Unfortunately only those living in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Spain, France and the UK can use Spotify at this moment. The US are planned to get it by the end of the year.
You can listen to the EP by following this link (please share!).
We encourage you to buy the premium membership to support both Spotify and thereby us and all other artists present on the service.
In a band? Have a venue? Just a fan? Why not sign up at ReverbNation? Sign up here – we recommend it!
The bonus edition of the EP is now also available at Bandcamp for free download and different good quality versions for a minimum of $5.
Go check it out!
Why not join us on Facebook? We would love some more fans there and you would get any updates from us directly on your page.
You find us here or just use the easy addresse, band.to/rebolt.

Support the band!
Do you want to be a part of Rebolt history? Do you want to get something very special and unique? Of course you do!
We are planning to record our debut album and, who knows, this might be the only album we ever make as well. Hell, we don’t know. We don’t have enough money to record an album right now (we are poor bastards and don’t have time to play live as much as we would like), but since it’s so important for us to make this “evidence” of how good we are as a band, we are thinking outside of the box. Rebolt is fortunate enough to have some really hardcore fans who appreciates true rock’n'roll and we want to give you the opportunity to be a part of this album and get your hands on a true collectors edition of it.
In fact, we might just release the album for digital distribution (iTunes, Amazon, Napster, etc.), but we want to make 150 exclusively custom made cd’s. By paying €22.50 / $31.50 / NOK 199 (including shipping) in advance, 150 fans gets their own personal and numbered album, handmade and autographed by the band and your name in the booklet! By this you will help us make a great record and at the same time give yourself (or a friend) a very rare and special album.
And here’s the best part: If we don’t raise enough money to record the album or finish it, we will refund your money! We are giving ourselves one year to do this, so by May 2010 the album will either be in your hands or you’ll get the money back. This is a promise! But mark our words: If you say you want an album, we WILL make it! And Kristian may even return to participate…
So, do you want to be a part of the making of Rebolt’s debut album? Do you want your own, custom made personal album, autographed by the band? Click the donate button and support your favorite rock’n'roll band right now! Remember: There will only be 150 of these cd’s and there may never be printed any cd’s at all – the plan is to release the album for digital distribution throughout the world.
The button will take you to Paypal.com where you can safely transfer the money to us with your credit card. You will get a receipt and we will have your name, addresse and email so that we can contact you and keep you posted about the album, send you the album when it’s done or (hopefully not) return your money if we can’t make it. We will start the recording process when we reach 50 sold cd’s.
Remember: There will only be 150 of these cd’s!
Thank you so much for your support!
Best wishes from Frode, Knut Eirik, Bård, Magnus and Kristian.
“Lemmy’s Heart” is featured in another ski movie – this time during Jérémy Prévost’s skiing down the mountain sides! See it here or right here:
“Bad Boy (For You)” was played on norwegian national radio, NRK P3, on the great show “Pyro“, on April 7th. Strangely enough they confused the song with “Lemmy’s Heart”, as they were playing songs about real persons. But who cares! You can hear the song in the last hour of the show through this podcast-link (Tuesday, April 7th).
